Putting up the Christmas Tree!

It was a typical day in December, when Rebecca came into the living room.
"OOF!" Rebecca said. "That tree is really heavy!" She had also hauled in the boxes of ornaments and hooks.

"LET'S GO, KIRSTEN!!!!!" Rebecca exclaimed excitedly.
"YAY!!! Let's do it!" Kirsten agreed.

Kirsten had bent over to open the container of ornaments. Rebecca stumbled over her feet and knocked into Kirsten's back.
"OUCH, Kirsten! Watch where you sit!" Rebecca yelped.
"Well, SORRY!!!! I didn't think you-"Kirsten started.
"Never mind, Kirsten. It's okay," Rebecca said.

Rebecca put on the first ornament, a red glass ball.
"Ooh, look at it sparkle, Kirsten! Do you think that it will look even prettier with the lights shining behind it?" Rebecca asked.

Suddenly, Rebecca's green iguana, Green Guy (my lizard, Guacanole), climbed up her arm.
"Oh, hi, Green Guy," Rebecca crooned.

As Rebecca bent over to pick up an ornament, her bright blue hair ribbon slid out of her curls and landed on the floor.

"Oh, great," Rebecca said. "I'll be back Kirsten, I'm going to get my gold clip in...it stays in better anyway."

Rebecca came back, and Kirsten was putting a shiny red ball on the tree.

The sweet girls insisted that I put an ornament on as well. (I also did it to show you the size of the tree versus the size of my hand.)

"OH, what a mess!!!!!" Rebecca exclaimed.
"Yeah...and guess who cleans it up, this time," Kirsten added.

"Well, not me, Kirsten, you!" Rebecca shot back.
"Oh, but I cleaned up last year!" Kirsten shouted.
"WE didn't have a tree last year!" Rebeca said.
"Maybe you should..." Kirsten muttered.

Suddenly, their older sister came into the room (my My Twinn doll, Erin)
"Girls!!!! You both clean up. Rebecca, you clean up the ornaments. Kirsten, the ornament hooks."
"But ERIN!!!!! I'll get poked!" Kirsten protested.
"Well I'm sorry that you'll get poked, but I know you'll go through worse," Erin said, ending the argument.

Kirsten, however, finished up sooner than Rebecca. Rebecca kept trying to scoop up all of the ornaments in her arms, but they all ended up on the floor. Finally, though, she got them into the container.

The girls went off to get dressed while Erin got the tree skirt on.

It did sort of complete the look of the tree.

Kirsten then came in with her berry print dress and I took a quick picture.
Then in came Rebecca with her green dress on with a red sash tied around her waist. It went well with her honey brown curls. The girls counted down..."10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, ...1!!!!" And plugged in the tree. They smiled.
They started to sing.....
"Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree!!! Thy leaves are so unchanging!"

Rebecca picked it up.
"Not only green in summer's here..."

"But in the winter's cold and drear...."

"Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree..."

Erin came in with their baby sister, Josefina.

"THY LEAVES ARE SO UNCHANGING!!!!!"
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!
