Glen, a friend of mine, plays the saxophone in his high school band. He is going to districts. This will happen in February. He will be playing Eugene Bozza's "Aria."

Except that... I AM HIS PIANO ACCOMPANIMENT!!!! He phoned last night and asked to speak with my parents (to ask permission) and then he came on the phone with me and said..."I'm going to play at districts in February and I was wondering if you'd like to be my piano accompaniment."
I about passed out. Seriously. I mean, I know I'm not famous because of this, but this is still HUGE for me! 8)

AAAAAAAAHHHHHH THAT IS SO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! I made districts last year (at the junior high level) and am trying out again this year (in 2 weeks- eeeek!) I'm going to play Andalouse by Pessard. :)
